The project entailed upgrading the existing BW 7.4/BPC 10.0 on Oracle to BW 7.4/BPC 10.1, migrating the BPC system to the HANA database, and transitioning to AWS hardware.
Leveraging their expertise, TekLink implemented the SUM DMO (Software Update Manager Database Migration Option) approach, which facilitated the simultaneous upgrade of BW 7.4 on Oracle MSSQL to BW 7.5 on HANA while upgrading BPC 10.0 to 10.1. By migrating to AWS hardware within a single business outage, TekLink aimed to minimize downtime and ensure a seamless transition for the company.
TekLink executed multiple iterations of the production system migration to optimize the migration process.
